Honoring Roots & Lineage

Reflecting with a heart full of gratitude, clarity, and levity after a day long of receiving biodynamic teachings in Osteopathy. As long as I live I will never stop learning.

One of the most respected European Osteopaths in my town (who helped me greatly a few years ago with my traumatic brain injury), has just begun teaching. His class is private, rare and precious. There are only six of us in the cohort, all professionals in various bodywork fields (a rolfer, pelvic floor physical therapist, a renowned visceral therapist, etc.), and I am so honored to be in it.

I continue to be woven in deeper with the most inspiring teachers and leaders in true holistic healing. Today he told us that Osteopathy is at least 10-15 years ahead of Western Medicine, and it’s easy to believe.

There is a lot of craniosacral fluff out there — it is difficult to find decent practitioners that are actually attached to its roots. But the authentic lineage is so incredible, integrous and astute. I adore reading the old texts and receiving transmissions from the elders carrying the embodied teachings. I am 15 years into this journey and I feel like I’m just beginning. What a blessing.

I just added a page to my website — Honoring Roots & Lineage — to elaborate further. You can find it here.
