where we’re going

𖦹

about the land

We are deeply honored and excited to be invited to the stunning Greek island of Paros, a luminous gem in the heart of the Aegean Sea. Part of the Cyclades, Paros is known for its charming whitewashed villages, winding cobblestone streets, and crystalline turquoise waters.

The island carries a quiet radiance, where sun-bleached architecture meets vibrant bougainvillea, and harbor towns like Naoussa and Parikia unfold with warmth and ease. Historically renowned for its fine marble, which shaped ancient sculpture and architecture, Paros holds a deep cultural lineage that is still felt today.

Beyond its villages, the landscape opens into rolling hills, fertile valleys, and expansive beaches, offering space for both stillness and movement — whether swimming in clear waters, sailing along the coast, or simply resting into the rhythm of island life. With its rich traditions, fresh local cuisine, and sacred sites such as the Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Holy Shrine of the Virgin Mary), Paros offers a rare balance of serene retreat and vibrant exploration.

𖦹

about the waters

There is something undeniably healing about the Aegean Sea. Luckily, the sea will be right at our doorstep! Each day, we have time to swim, soften, and be with the saltwater and the changing light — with spacious three hour lunches and ample time at sunrises and sunsets — allowing the body to receive from our ultimate teacher, Water.

𖦹

our retreat center

We are held and hosted by an authentic, Greek-owned eco-retreat center, just steps from the sea. The space is beautiful, intentional, and designed to support rest, presence, and connection with the natural environment.

Surrounded by open sky, sea air, and the steady rhythm of the waves, the center offers a quiet, grounded setting for the week. Indoor and outdoor spaces allow for both gathering and solitude — places to land, reflect, slow down, and integrate.

With the beach just in front of us, the elements become part of the experience, supporting the nervous system in unwinding, settling, and rejuvenating over time.

𖦹

our curriculum

This immersion  invites you to develop and refine your essential skills for grounding and centering in yourself, creating and maintaining safety and trust with others, increasing healing potency in your touch and sensitivity in your awareness. With dynamic stillness as the guide, we cultivate our capacity to support the body’s innate wisdom of healing – in ourselves, in each other, and in the world.

We delve into the art and science of the gentle and profound healing modality known as craniosacral biodynamics. With presence, stillness and wholeness as primary orientations, we explore practices such as embodied felt-sense, resonant touch, resting in midline, and abiding in neutral. We learn how to listen to Primary Respiration and the Breath of Life, sensing tides, fulcrums, stillpoints, subtle rhythms, states of consciousness, and more.

Daily yoga and somatic movement sessions with Emma Thompson grace our mornings, connecting us deeper into our practice of embodied presence.

*This immersion offers a Certificate of Completion for 28 CEU’s through NCBTMB. It does not, however, certify you to become a craniosacral practitioner. Consider this a beautiful beginning, a jumpstart or deepening into a lifelong path of cultivation, embodied presence, healing touch and resonant attunement.

“I have taken many craniosacral classes in my life, but Koa's was the most divine of all. If you want to experience craniosacral as a direct expression of the Breath of Life, go study with Koa. She will guide you with beauty and grace in the magical waters of Greece.”

𖦹

our flow

The first days are dedicated to landing and grounding — arriving on the land and also in your body, in your heart, and in your intention. It is a space to meet and greet the earth and waters and to build a safe container with each other for our deep dive. We have time to sit in circle, to explore the surroundings, to slow down and to begin to open to the inner wellspring of our being.

On day three we officially begin the multi-day craniosacral training curriculum. In this time we fully dedicate ourselves to craniosacral biodynamics and how to awaken our awareness, sensitivity, touch and presence for healing. Three-hour lunch breaks give us enough free time to nourish, rest, swim, and explore. Our final full day is in dedication to integrating and harvesting all the wisdom received, ritualizing our closure, and preparing ourselves for the journey home.

“Inner Wellspring deepened my ability to resource from the inside out. Being surrounded by the Aegean Sea alongside other women held the essence of biodynamics with a potency that still ripples to my bones. Koa’s course is a reminder and guidance to receive with integrity.”

— Hannah, New Mexico

our food

Meals are prepared with care using fresh, seasonal ingredients, much of it grown from the organic garden on the land or sourced locally from the island. Rooted in traditional Greek cuisine and infused with subtle Indian influences and Ayurvedic principles, the food is simple, vibrant, and deeply nourishing.

Plant-based meals form the foundation, thoughtfully prepared with organic ingredients and designed to support a range of dietary needs. For many guests, the food becomes a highlight of the experience.

Meals are shared in an open-air deck overlooking the sea, offering time to slow down, connect, and integrate. Meals are served at brunch and dinner, times specifically designated around your daily practice and for optimal digestion. For something extra, the kitchen is available in between meals, with juices and smoothies, and a selection of healthy snacks and salads available for order throughout the day.

The rhythm of gathering, eating, and resting becomes part of the experience itself. There is always the option to eat with the group or take space for a quieter, more personal meal.

“The temple space, location, food and presence was profound.”

“The depth of an immersive training experience with Koa allowed me to slowly settle in and receive the teachings in a sustainable and aligned pace for me. I notice this pace as the embodied teachings themselves of this sacred work that Koa grounds with intention.

Each of Koa's classes felt like a channelled dialogue with our bodies and spirit that weaves through all. I left the training feeling that each of my cells and layers of being received the teachings, beyond just the mind. I'm grateful for the healing container that she helped to curate for us all and dream of one day returning to her classroom!”

a longer testimonial:

“Inner Wellspring was a gorgeous, restful journey that went so deep and released profoundly in a titrated way. The teachings were clear, very well considered and I loved the way Koa taught in a 'flow state', from presence and intuition, not from mind.

In previous courses, when there is an attempt to do too much, I have often gone into my head and this was so very different, it was like the teaching pace allowed us to remain embodied and present. This was so skillful and appreciated. I loved the chance to practice everything we were being taught. To live it through and through.

So much so that by the last partner sessions, my body dipped into the deepest 'sleep' - more than sleep - parasympathetic in a new way - the most profound letting go and metabolizing of inertia in system. This was all because of the care and presence in the field and how much deep exhale was facilitated.

I can feel the reverberation of this echoing almost a week on and across time zones. Wild animals are coming closer and staying still with me. Everything feels different. In the best possible way. It truly is an embodiment opportunity of deep transformation and transmutation - and that's what I hoped for.

I loved the sharing of stories and metaphor, teachings of the history of craniosacral, as well as the practical, hands-on and technical aspects. Flowed seamlessly. From mystical to anatomical.

Opening and Closing ceremonies were just beautiful. So much presence in the group held by humble leaders, coming deeply from the heart. The temple space, the location, food and presence was profound.

So thoughtfully and carefully considered, also totally light and easeful. Everything was imbued with the spirit of biodynamic craniosacral (sacred) so it felt like a true immersion.”
