PURPOSE & INTENT

The purpose of this Yearlong Immersion is to provide dedicated students a place to deepen their listening skills within the safety of a committed cohort, providing a rich and inspiring learning environment with support and accountability throughout the threshold of one calendar year.

With an emphasis on embodied listening and personal growth, the amount of transformation can be remarkable both in the student’s personal lives as well as in the cultivation of their essential professional healing skills. This model of mentor / apprentice and oral tradition is intended to honor the lineage of this unique healing modality, as well as to uphold the ethics and integrity of it. Each student will be individually assigned to a mentor (instructor or lead assistant) and supported throughout the year with four 1:1 calls.

While following the Biodynamic Principles it is important to reiterate how fluid and open our training sessions can be in actuality, and that outlining the curriculum’s learning objectives is not limiting to what can and may unfold during each immersion. They can simply be perceived as the base work or the foundation from which each unique immersion will spring forth what is asked to be explored during that time. Reading material will be assigned between each session to further support lectures and learning objectives.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of 120 hours of the Yearlong Immersion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the School of Biodynamic Healing Arts. This is not to be confused with a Practitioner Certification. Most craniosacral schools require at least 300 hours of training, some up to 700 hours.

What this Certification of Completion will provide you with is a demonstration of a deepening of your own learning that will show your capacity, embodiment and fluency in the teachings. It will enhance your perceptual skills in the relational field, and undoubtedly inform and touch everything that you do.

Upon completion of the Yearlong Immersion and its outlined requirements for certificate, you may be invited into further study into our Practitioner Program. This is a second Yearlong Immersion with four additional modules every three months with increased supervision and mentorship. Upon completion of this second year of training, you will have the opportunity to receive a Practitioner Certification from the School of Biodynamic Healing Arts.
